NCAA-Approved Online Courses
College-bound student-athletes who want to play sports at a Division I or II school are required to have completed 16 NCAA-approved core courses upon graduation. Core courses in English, math, social science, and physical science have been reviewed and approved by the National Collegiate Athletic Association as meeting its definition of a core course. Each of these courses is time-bound and meets the NCAA time frame guidelines.

If you are a student interested in learning more about specific NCAA information or nontraditional core-course requirements, please visit the NCAA Eligibility Center. Our classes are only offered through partnerships with school districts and cannot be purchased on an individual basis.
Coursework with an enrollment date of May 1, 2017 and beyond meets NCAA Nontraditional Core-Course legislation and may be used in the initial-eligibility certification process.
